A significant gold mining town dating back to the 9th century. The worlds oldest working mint. Baroque and Gothic architecture
Medicinal thermal spa dating back to 13th century (its been refurbised since then). Great place to relax in the hot waters up to 38 degrees with slides to keep the kids busy
Our local large town, 15 minute drive or easy bus from the village. For all your shopping needs and several interesting Slovak cultural sites
One of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia and used in many films including the 1922 Nosferatu and more recently The Witcher and Van Helsing
